【Abstract】 Fiber coupler is a directional coupler that is crucial component for optical fiber communication systems.Although present applications of fiber coupler mostly interfere in linear characteristics,its nonlinear effect has been already investigated since 1982.However,all optical switching is very important application in its nonlinear effect.The basic structure and work principle of fiber coupler are introduced.The analysis of its linear and nonlinear theory is done.Several coupler applications are presented finally.更多还原
