【摘要】 语言相对论认为语言影响人的思维模式,但就具体是语言的哪些方面影响人的思维模式并没有做出回答。最简方案框架下的唯递归性假设认为人类狭义语言机能的独特属性是递归性。这个假设对语言差异到底是由什么因素决定的问题有了回答。由递归性假设得出的结论是语言影响思维的成分全部都在词库,即语言对语音的选择、索绪尔的任意性和功能语类。本文以新的视角阐述了语言相对论与这个假设之间的互补互济关系。更多还原

【Abstract】 Linguistic relativism holds that language influences the mode of thinking of human beings, butspecifically what aspects of language exert influence on it remains an unanswered question. The recursion-onlyhypothesis under minimalist program considers that recursion is the only unique part of language faculty in thenarrow sense, and it implies a possible solution to the question as to what factors determine the languagevariation. The recursion-only hypothesis concludes that all three factors are derived from the lexicon, i.e., thelanguage-phoneme selections, the Saussurean arbitrariness, and the functional categories. This paper discussesthe mutualism of the linguistic relativism and the hypothesis from a new perspective.更多还原
