【Abstract】 In English-Chinese translation,the translator may determine situational meanings of some words by reasoning with the aid of lexical contextualization cues.The reasoning depends on mainly such semantic relations between two words in a context as semantic collocation,semantic conflict and lexical reference.Words as contextualization cues may solve problems in English-Chinese translation arising from polysemy or ambiguity,references of some referring expressions,seemingly improper collocation and words of too general meanings.更多还原
