对羟基偶氮苯电化学氧化降解机理研究
Study on the Degradation Pathway for 4-hydroxyazobenzene by Electro-Generated Fenton Reagent
【摘要】 研究对羟基偶氮苯在电生成羟基自由基的氧化降解下最后矿化成CO2和H2O.UV、IR、HPLC等方法的测试结果表明:在对对羟基偶氮苯氧化降解的过程中,首先羟基自由基作用于对羟基偶氮苯上N的N,使其断裂生成芳香族类化合物;续而羟基自由基亲电子作用结合于苯环上生成羟基化派生物,进一步氧化使苯环断裂生成脂肪酸类有机物,羟基自由基氧化降解对羟基偶氮苯符合宏观一级反应动力学模型.
【Abstract】 The electro-chemical production of Fenton reagent(H2O2,Fe2+) allows a controlled in situ generation of hydroxyl radicals(·OH) by simultaneous reduction of dioxygen and ferrous ions on the carbon felt.In turn,hydroxyl radicals having a high redox potential react with 4-hydroxyazobenzene,thus leading to their mineralization into CO2 and H2O.I R,UV were used to investigate the reaction between 4-hydroxyazobenzene and electra generated Fenton reagent.The chemical composition of 4-hydroxyazobenzene and their degradation products during electrolysis were monitored by high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC).The following degradation products were identified: hydroquinone,1,4-benzoquinone,p-nitrophenol,nitrobenzene.The identification of degradation products permits us to propose a pathway of degradation of 4-hydroxyazobenzene.The first step of 4-hydroxyazobenzene degradation is the azo bond cleavage and the second step is hydroxyl radical addition on the aromatic ring.Kinetic analysis of the date shows a pseudo-first order degradation reaction for 4-hydroxyazobenzene.
