采用自适应码流分配的高性能3D-SPIHT实时视频压缩算法
Adaptive Stream Distribution Method for Full-Featured Real-time Realization of 3D-SPIHT
【摘要】 通过分析和比较基于树状结构的并行3D-SPIHT压缩算法以及标准算法中嵌入式码流的分布特点,给出了“自适应码流分配”改进方法,弥补了并行算法在码流分配单元中的不足,并利用DSP测试平台对改进算法进行了验证.仿真结果表明,改进算法重建图像的PSNR比原并行算法平均提高约0.4 dB,达到与标准3D-SPI-HT算法相当的视频图像压缩效果,编码速度也达到了大多数实时视频压缩系统的要求.
【Abstract】 An improved method,the `adaptive stream distribution’ which eliminates much performance degradation in the available 3D-SPIHT parallel realization,is proposed.The stimulation results show that,for the same compression ratio,the quality of video by using the present improved method is higher than that using the available method about 0.4 dB(PSNR).Mean while the new method meets the common requirements of the real-time video encoding and decoding.
