丹皮多糖分子的电子显微镜观察

【摘要】 利用透射电镜对丹皮多糖分子(PSM2b-A)的显微结构进行了研究。观察到PSM2b-A在水溶液中呈球状或圈状的形貌,这些球状和圈状的结构可进一步连接或侧向聚集成链状或网状结构。表明在稀水溶液中,多糖分子倾向于蜷曲,且可通过氢键和其他弱作用力形成各种分子聚集形态。

【Abstract】 The ultrastructure of polysaccharide isolated from the root of Paeonia suffruticosa Andr named as PSM2b-A was examined by transmission electron microscopy.PSM2b-A samples in aqueous solution were heated at 45℃ for 20 minutes before dipping to the copper grids following negative staining by uranyl acetate after air-dried.Coiled balls or circles,extended chains,network-like structures have been observed.It is presumed that polysaccharide molecules of PSM2bA in aqueous solution are likely to coil into floppy or compact globular structures which may assemble into aggregates by means of hydrogen bonds,leading to a variety of morphology.The TEM images provide useful insight into the conformations and interactions of polysaccharide molecules.
