单晶1×N电光开关的优化设计
Optimum Design of 1×N Electro-optic Switch Integrated in a Single Slab
【摘要】 对基于双折射双反射的单晶集成1×N电光开关进行了分析,提出了该种1×N电光开关的构成条件是发生两相邻反射的反射面必须互相垂直,并对晶体的结构进行了优化,使接收端易于接收输出的光信号.同时充分考虑了晶体尺寸的选择,以免光从不希望的界面上逸出,从而有助于单晶集成1×N电光开关的实用化.
【Abstract】 A configuration of electro-optic 1×N switch integrated in a single slab of LiNbO3 is analyzed.Then the requirement for this new type of 1×N switch is found to be that the interface for k+1 th reflection must be perpendicular to the interface for k th reflection.And a simple modification can be taken to obtain a good arrangement with output positions for receiving output signals.Additionally,selection of crystal size is discussed to avoid the input signal walking off.An experimental 1×4 switch is demonstrated,too.
