【摘要】 在查对中国南部赤腹松鼠标本(401号)的基础上,发现分布于云南东北部昭通地区的赤腹松鼠与赤腹松鼠其他亚种有明显的区别。毛色特征:背部棕黄色,背中央区域稍带黑色;腹部至前胸栗红色;喉、颏部棕灰色;尾毛背腹无明显差异,尾毛末端棕黄、次末端黑,尾末端具棕黄色(稍黄白)区域;前后足背棕褐色,稍带黑色。进一步对头骨可量性状数据进行分析(差异系数),结果表明:分布于该地区的赤腹松鼠分别与赤腹松鼠其他13个亚种两两之间至少有一项差异系数大于1·28,系一新亚种Callosciuruserythraeuszhaotongensissubsp.nov.。更多还原

【Abstract】 Based on examining 401 specimens of Callosciurus erythraeus in Southern China, we find there are distinct differences between the new subspecies on Callosciurus erythraeus zhaotongensis which distributes in Zhaotong Area, Northeastern Yunnan and other subspecies of Callosciurus erythraeus. Pelage color: dorsal pelage is brown-yellow, and there is a slightly darker area in the center. Ventral pelage, from chest to belly, is chestnut reddish, but throat and chin are brown-grey; there are not any significant differences between the back and the ventral of the tail, the terminal of tail hair is brown-yellow, subterminal is black, and there is a brown-yellow (slightly yellow-whitish) area at the end of tail; the backs of feet are brown, with slightly blacker. After more analysis have been made on external and cranial measurements (coefficient of difference), the results indicate: at least one coefficient of difference between Callosciurus erythraeus which from Zhaotong Area, and the other 13 subspecies of Callosciurus erythraeus respectively is over 1.28, that is to say this group is a new subspecies: Callosciurus erythraeus zhaotongensis subsp.nov..更多还原
