【Abstract】 In this paper a new species of the genus Aenictus Shuckard is described from Wudangshan Nature Reserve, Hubei Province, China. The type specimens of the new species are deposited in the Insect Collection, Hubei Institute for Nationalities, China.nictus wudangshanensis sp. nov.(Figs. 1-2)This new species is similar to Aenictus thailandanus Teragama et Kubota, but differs from the latter by the following characters: anterior border of clypeus clearly concave, subpetiolar process rectangular, and the whole pronotum shining with weakly microreticulate.Holotype worker, 600m, Wudangshan Nature Reserve (32.4°N,110.9°E), Hubei Province, 8 Aug. 2004, WANG Wei leg. Paratypes: 9 workers, collected from the same nest of the holotype.Etymology. The specific name refers to the type locality.更多还原
