【Abstract】 A new genus, Paraphyllocoptes, and five new species, Paraphyllocoptes shiwanshanensi (type species: Paraphyllocoptes), Epitrimerus piper, Phyllocoptes machilus, Vasates guangxiensis and Disella cylindrokeluphae are described from Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region,China. Type specimens are deposited in the College of Agriculture, Guangxi University. All measurements are given in micrometers.Paraphyllocoptes gen.nov.Spindleform, shield with anterior lobe, dorsal tubercles situated in front of hind margin, dorsal seta pointing inward and backward, seta on genu of hindlegs absent, featherclaw simple, 6-rayed. Thanosome with arcuate tergites. Coxae and ventral setae present.Type species: Paraphyllocoptes shiwanshanensis sp. nov. Etymology. The genus name is derived from the name of the genus “Phyllocoptes”, and para,Greek.Remarks. This new genus belongs to Phyllocoptinae. It resembles Phyllocoptes Nalepa, 1889, but can be distinguished by seta on genu of hindlegs absent and dorsal setae pointing inward and backward.[KH*2D]1 Paraphyllocoptes shiwanshanensis sp.nov. Shiwandashan National Forst Park,Shangsi County(22°06′N, 107°55′E), Guangxi, collected by WEI Sui-Gai, and XIE Man-Chao, 5 July 2003.Etymology. The specific name is derived from Piper, the name of the host plant on which the new species was collected.Remarks. This new species resembles Epitrimerus ipomoeae Wei, Feng et Huang, 1999, but can be differentiated from the latter by the lateral median lines incomplete and coverflap with 12-14 longitudinal ribs.3\ Phyllocoptes machilus sp.nov.(Figs.12-17)Female.
