【Abstract】 For the purpose of acquiring the dynamic characteristics of Chongqing straddle-type monorail transportation vehicles, tests for the comfort of passengers were carried out between Yuanjiagang and Xiejiawan Stations. Three evaluation standards—ISO 2631, UIC 513 and GB 5599—85 were adopted, and the extent of ride comfort of passengers and the smoothness of train motion were employed to assess the comfort of passengers.
