【Abstract】 This paper presents a modified algorithm for subband analysis filter, which is applicable to high fidelity digital audio compression algorithm using subband coding (such as MPEG audio-layer3 standard). This modified algorithm, which makes full use of the symmetry of cosine function, can not only reduce computational load and memory space, but also avoid precision loss that introduced by division operation. So it is convenient for the implementation on a fixed-point DSP.更多还原
