【摘要】 通过改变IP数据包的速率,分析了MPLS标签机制对网络流量的影响.网络拥塞时,加标签的IP数据包的流量由于标签超载反而低于未加标签的IP数据包.为了改进这种标签超载现象,提出了一种shim标签头的设置格式和算法.仿真结果表明:基于MPLS标签机制的shim标签头设置和算法,简化了数据包的转发过程,提高了IP数据包的转发速率,改善了网络流量的性能.更多还原

【Abstract】 By varying the IP packet rate the paper analyzes MPLS label scheme’s effect on the network traffic.When network happens to congest,labeled IP packet traffic is lower in respect to unlabeled IP packet traffic due to label overload.In order to reduce label overloading,a new shim label header allocation format and algorithm,the result of simulations shows that the allocation algorithm can always get the label IP packet to perform than unlabeled IP packet whether there is network congestion or not.更多还原
