【Abstract】 Discussed in the article are the reasons for the imperfect quality of piecing through the representation of the principles and the key technologies of semiautomatic piecing. Furthermore, three measures involving changing the old yarn tail, changing the feed speed and exhausting the damaged fibers are pointed out.
