图像识别在目标自动识别系统中的应用
Automatic vehicle license plate recognition based on image processing
【摘要】 图像处理系统主要包括采用摄像机、图像采集卡、计算机等硬件设备,进行实时图像采集,用灰度直方图方法从摄取含背景图像的目标图像,采用多种分割技术和多个简单识别器融合方法进行目标图像识别,不仅大幅提高了识别率而且缩短了识别耗时。本文以车牌自动识别系统设计为例。
【Abstract】 In an image processing system,digital video camera,image acquisition card and microcomputer are used for real-time image acquisition,gray histogram method is used for obtaining the target image containing the background image.Multiple image fragmentation methods are used,and several simple recognizers are combined together to utilize the peculiarity of each one.As a result,its recognition rate is higher and time for recognition is shorter.Vehicle license plate recognition is taken as an example in the paper.
