【Abstract】 A study was made of the effect of the hot-pressing variables on formaldehyde emission and mechanicalproperties of bamboo flooring by orthogonal experiments. The results demonstrated that optimum hot-pressing vari-ables were: press temperature of 125℃, press time of 60s per millimeter board thickness, and the highest press pressureof 2. 5MPa.
