【Abstract】 Globalization, internationalization and high-technology are restructuring our world. There is a great impact of current globalization trends on the urbanization in China. This paper reviews some new trends of China’s urban development, such as global- ization of urban functions, growing polycentric mega- city regions, accelerated interconnection among ur- ban places as well as new urban alliances and regional integration. The paper mentioned particularly that there are a few fast-growing urban places in the pro- cess of globalization.更多还原
