多频动态热机械分析法研究碳纤维复合材料湿热老化
Study on Hydrothermal Properties of Carbon Fiber Composites with Multi-frequency Dynamic Mechanical Thermal Analysis
【摘要】 采用多频温度扫描动态热机械(DMTA)方法研究了环氧树脂基碳纤维复合材料于65,95℃蒸馏水中的湿热老化性能,通过Arrhenius方程计算得到复合材料湿热老化前后的玻璃化转变表观活化能ΔEa,分析了复合材料于两种温度下的吸湿性和静态力学性能变化。结果表明,不同树脂基复合材料湿热老化前后ΔEa不同,随着湿热老化温度的升高,ΔEa增加;湿热环境中复合材料的平衡吸湿率越低,ΔEa越小;湿热老化后复合材料的力学性能保留率越低则ΔEa越大。表观活化能可以用来表征树脂基复合材料的耐湿热性能。
【Abstract】 The hydrothermal properties of carbon fiber reinforce epoxy resin in 65℃ and 95℃ distilled water was studied with multi-frequency dynamic mechanical thermal analysis.The apparent activation energy of glass transition(ΔE_a) was determined through the use of results obtained at multiple frequencies applying the Arrhenius principle.And the absorption characteristics and changes of mechanical properties of immersed composites were analyzed too.The result shows that different resin matrix composites have different ΔE_a in hydrothermal environment.The change of ΔE_a is more obvious in the higher temperature hydrothermal environment.Equilibrium moisture content of composites is a function of ΔE_a,so is the retention mechanical properties of composites.ΔE_a can reflect the Hydrothermal Stability of the composites.So this method can be used to study the hydrothermal of carbon fiber composites.
