纳米ZrO2热障涂层热震性能研究

【摘要】 为了研究纳米热障涂层的热震性能,采用等离子喷涂工艺制备了纳米Y2O3-ZrO2(YSZ)热障涂层,并测试了涂层的热震性能。借助扫描电镜和X射线衍射等手段分析了涂层的物相构成和组织结构。结果表明,涂层中保留未完全熔融的小尺寸颗粒,且存在大量的孔径<1μm的微孔,该结构对提高涂层的热震性能极为有利。纳米涂层抗热震性能显著优于常规热障涂层,从室温至1000℃,经800次热循环,涂层无明显的脱落现象。

【Abstract】 Yttria stabilized nanostructured zirconia (YSZ) thermal barrier coating was produced using atmospheric plasma spraying. The microstructure, grain size, and phase composition of the resulting coating were analyzed by means of scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction. The thermal shock resistance was evaluated. It was found that there existed a great deal of un-molten particulates of an average size 51.8 nm and many tiny pores of a diameter below 1 μm in the as-prepared YSZ thermal barrier coating. At the same time, the coating was composed of cubic and tetragonal phases of zirconia and had little penetration cracks, which were beneficial to improving the thermal shock resistance of the coating. Namely, no signs of peeling-off were observed in the YSZ thermal barrier coating, after it was heated and held there for 10 min and cooled in air for 5 min within room temperature to 1 000 ℃ for 800 thermal cycles.
