电动自行车用铅蓄电池组的过放电
Over-discharge of VRLA battery for electric bicycle
【摘要】 电动自行车用密封铅蓄电池5 A恒电流放电至终止电压10.5 V,静置0.5 h,电池组电压出现回升,仍可继续放电。如此过放电数次,总计可使电池容量增加10%~19%。其总放电量相当于电池长时率放电容量。这种过放电可加剧板栅腐蚀,在板栅/活性物质界面产生高电阻层,并引起正极活性物质软化脱落,使电池放电容量迅速下降,促使电池早期失效。
【Abstract】 A VRLA battery group used for electric bicycle was discharged at constant current of 5 A to the final discharge voltage,and then left standing open-circuited for half an hour.After this its open-citcuit voltage increased gradually,and it might be discharged again,which made the battery capacity increase about 10 %~19 %,and the total discharging capacity was about equal to the capacity being discharged at low discharge rate.Suchlike over-discharge resulted in accelerated corrosion of grids,forming a high resistance barrier on the interface between the grid/positive active material,softening and shedding of positive active material and fast reducing the discharge capacity,as a result,the battery suffered from premature capacity loss.
