【Abstract】 The interleaver types in communication system include block helical interleaver, quadric arithmetic interleaver, convolutional interleaver, block interleaver, pseudo-random interleaver, Semi-random interleaver and so on. The genetic algorithm and chaos were integrated with interleaver design separately. In former, by adopting interleaver creation algorithm, the first generation of basic species was created and the optimum individuals were kept.
