【Abstract】 This paper puts emphasis on studying L3 VPN multicast and proposes a mechanism of VPN multicast based on Virtual Routers.Then it details this innovative solution based on the processing in local sites,methods of establishing multicast distribution trees in Service Provider backbones and flowing of multicast data packets.Experimental result shows that the mechanism can reduce furthest the router’s multicast states on backbone to the greatest extent and improve scalability.更多还原
