【摘要】 西方推崇马克思的原因,需要从马克思主义学说的基本内容与当代世界社会发展的实际关系层面来理解。一是由于马克思主义产生的社会条件还存在,当代发达资本主义较之其初期虽然有了很大的变化,但其剥削、压迫劳动者的本质并没有变,所以劳动者总是把马克思、马克思主义作为自己追求解放的旗帜。二是马克思提供的认识和改造世界的理性工具——即唯物辩证法,对人类具有永恒的价值。西方社会也普遍在利用这一理性工具解决自己的问题,推动社会不断进步。三是马克思根据自己的价值目标,通过分析当时的社会现实,把握社会发展规律,而对社会发展趋势做出的推测和根据这些推测做出的一系列对策安排——包括对社会主义基本制度的设计,这些东西中有很多被后来的社会发展的实践所一一证实,这也是西方知识界推崇马克思的原因。有些人在根本不了解马克思主义的情况下,也不对社会主义出现的挫折和问题作具体分析,就盲目地排斥马克思主义,这是极不严肃的态度。今天,我们应坚持以马克思主义为指导,正确地处理好马克思主义与本国文化传统的关系,广泛吸取人类创造的全部文明,大胆创新,努力构建与我们国家的现代化建设相适应的有中国特色的社会主义新文化。更多还原

【Abstract】 The West’s acceptance of and esteem for Marx are rooted in the doctrines of Marxism itself and the conditions of social development of the contemporary world. First, the social circumstances under which Marxist doctrine first emerged being still in present today, the exploited and oppressed classes continue to regard Marxism as their banner of liberation. Second, the theory of materialistic dialectics of Marxism, whose value as a tool of reason has withstood the test of time, has played an important role in the West’s social progress. Third, some of Marx’s predictions about social development have also been verified in later social practices. Today we should continue to adhere to Marxism for guidance, properly handle the relations between Marxism and our own cultural traditions in creating a new socialist culture with Chinese characteristics that well accommodates the needs of the nation’s modernization campaign.更多还原
