【Abstract】 Chimeric LRR-extension protein was identified in cell wall development containing a leucine-rich repeat(LRR) and an extension domain.It appeared that it was involved in cell extension,besides cell growth,including the nutrition growth,morphogenesis,pollination,fertilization and so on.It had different function as the cytoplasm changed.There was certain process on the expression patterns,tissue specificities and the structures of their proteins.At present the researches were focused on the possible role in the development of root hairs and pollen tube.The classification,characteristics,structures of LRXs,and the role of LRXs in rapid growth and polarization were summarized in detail.更多还原
