【Abstract】 In the course of teaching foreign literature,reading literary classics is deemed as that for all their cultural value,the classics function not simply as great books but as something closer to spiritual exercises.Over the centuries,the books known as the classics have formed intricate bonds among men and women who have grown up within the radius of a civilization that began to flower nearly three thousand years ago.It reflects the skills of combination of textual in-depth reading and textual elucidation,the utility of literature theory resources,borrowing the settled category of literary criticism and conversion of terminology into textual analysis.The purpose of teaching literature lies in finding out the taste and artistic value of the given masterpieces.更多还原
