【Abstract】 Data mining (knowledge discovery in databases) is an information technology applied to automatically mining or discovering knowledge from the data which are stored in databases or/and warehouse. Because the data are incomplete, noisy, ambiguous and at random, we can’t discover the hidden knowledge or laws in the millions of databases and warehouse. Data Mining has already been wildly applied in business management, but public management has not attach much importance to it in China. In this paper, we try to introduce the technology to public managers and public management researchers through some good samples. We suggest that data mining also be used in public management as an advanced information technology.更多还原
