【Abstract】 Postmodernism is an irrational trend of thought in the current Western humanities, reflecting the inner difficulties of the development of human sciences as well as the influence of commercialization of the academic life in the West today. Lacking in confidence in the rational progress of social and human sciences, postmodernist philosophy has turned to the academic-market strategy,searching for the success and benefit by rhetoric means.
