【Abstract】 Culture can be dealt with in two categories: "highbrow culture" and "lowbrow culture". Both of these two cultures should be referred to in the education of foreign language. The cultural pattern for teaching the college English courses in China should be a tri-dimensional model in that a comprehensively cultural teaching might be undertaken in the respects of knowledge, behavior, and communication. As for an actual teaching, the teacher should make full use of varying teaching facilities, and conduct a variety of interesting activities. As a result, this will lead to an appropriately cultural mood and a language environment in which the students have an opportunity to communicate with a foreign language.更多还原
