【Abstract】 Starting with an analysis of the connotation of civilization and the relationship between civilization and culture, this paper discusses the character of civilization. It is pointed out that civilization is the middle element between the organic and inorganic world. Thus the conclusion has been drawn that civilizations do not conflict; the conflicts caused by civilizations are attributable to misunderstanding; civilization carries the character of availability, and some terrorists and national splittists take advantage of the civilization conflicts. Hence, this paper refutes Huntington’s view of civilization conflicts.更多还原
