【Abstract】 This paper makes a study of the achievements of the literature of wars in the twentieth century. It is pointed out that the literature of wars is an important component part of history in the twentieth century, and it the record of the times and the witness of history. Compared with historical works, the literature of wars bears the characteristics of variety, vividness, concreteness and inclination of emotions. The literature of wars in the twentieth century focused on the people in wars, disclosed the inner world of characters, revealed the beauty and ugliness in human being’s nature.
