【Abstract】 International market development policies and economic incentive policies for wind power were presented, including historical policies, current situation and development trend. Market development policies are the core all policies for wind power development. The typical policies are as following: regulated purchase price mechanism without restriction to quantities; regulated quantities with price determination by tendering procedure; regulated portfolio of renewable in the total electricity. Corresponding to market policies, many incentive policies have been adopted over around the world, such as investment subsidies price subsidies, tax credit, R&D supports and technology demonstration.
