【Abstract】 As a ubiquitous phenomenon in the materials science, the wettability of metal on ceramics, which is of great importance for developing new metal/ceramics systems, preparation techniques and preparing metal/ceramics composite with excellent properties, was studied long before. In the paper, phenomena and mechanism of wetting were introduced. Some experiment methods used to characterize the wetting procedure were presented.
