【Abstract】 Gogol is traditionally recognized as a realist writer.However,Nabokov holds a contrary view in Nikolai Gogol.According to Nabokov,rather than a comedist,Gogol presents in his works a vast variety of characters and worlds of second grade.Therefore his works should be categorized as illusion literature".His morals are conveyed through condemnation of philistinism".Although Nabokov has Nabokovized Gogol in a certain degree,this individualized interpretation opens up many fresh discoveries.更多还原
