兴奋和抑制海马神经元对慢波睡眠的影响
Effects of excitement and inhibition of hippocampal neurons on sleep and wakefulness
【摘要】 目的 观察兴奋和抑制海马神经元对慢波睡眠的影响。方法 多导睡眠描记 (PSG)和海马微量注射。结果 双侧海马微量注射L 谷氨酸 (L Glu)和环磷酸腺苷 (cAMP)引起慢波睡眠 (SWS)和总睡眠时间 (TST)增加 ,觉醒减少 ;海马微量注射γ 氨基丁酸 (GABA)引起SWS和TST减少 ,觉醒增多。结论 海马参与慢波睡眠的调节 ,兴奋海马神经元可促进慢波睡眠 ,抑制海马神经元则抑制慢波睡眠 ,并且cAMP可能也参与了L Glu对慢波睡眠的调节
【Abstract】 Objective To investigate the effects of excitement and inhibition of hippocampal neurons on sleep and wakefulness. Methods Polysomnography(PSG) and hippocampal microinjection. Results Hippocampal microinjection of L-glutamate(L-Glu) and 3′-5′-cyclic adenosine monophosphate(cAMP) enhanced slow wave sleep(SWS) and total sleep time(TST), but decreased wakefulness; γ-amino-butyric acid decreased SWS and TST, but increased wakefulness. Conclusion Hippocampus plays an important role in regulating sleep and wakefulness. Excitement of hippocampal neurons promotes SWS, whereas, inhibition of hippocampal neurons causes wakefulness. The SWS-promoting effect of L-Glu is probably due to the increase of cAMP concentration.
