Objective To evaluate the role of CT and MRI before cochlear implantation. Methods The high-resolution axial computed tomographic scanning (HRCT) and the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) were performed in 6 deaf patients before the implantation. The image findings were compared with what were found at the time of surgery.
