【Abstract】 In this paper, the authors make introduction to the inportance of the building of plant database and the developing process,applyin g environment,functions,appying methods and the developing orientation of Tibet plant resources indexing system. With this system,species names,Latin names,fami ly names and genus names of all the plant resources in Tibel can be inquired abo ut conveniently and genus rapidly.And the formatical uses of plant types can als o be displayed in this system.
