【Abstract】 Yu Hua changed his writing style in 1990s′. He discarded avant-gardevalues,feelings and thinking mode,turned his attention to civilians and their lives, and used a calm tune which entailed a little tender feeling to describe commom people′s stories."living"is a typical in camation of his changing of style. Basing on the further exposition of his article the readers can see Yu Hua through his novel "living" actually wants to tell them "how chinese people lived through the past few decades ".
