【摘要】 本文提出的用户驱动报表工具 Rpt Tool是数据仓库系统报表工具的一个实现 ,通过对报表信息的抽取 ,定义了一套描述报表信息的数据结构 ,将报表信息按照定义的数据结构保存 ,并将应用系统的报表需求信息归纳分类成视图 ,让用户在视图中根据实际需求定义自己的报表信息 ,由系统生成报表 ,实现报表生成对用户透明 .Rpt Tool就是在视图基础上实现报表的定义和生成 .本文着重讨论了 Rpt Tool的数据模型、设计和实现的技术问题更多还原

【Abstract】 The User driven Report Tool--named RptTool which is put forward in this article.RptTooL is one of the implementations of the report tools in data warehouse system. After abstracting on the information, which is included in the report, a set of data structure is defined to describe the report. A definition of view is used to distinguish the different kind of information in the reports. Users define the reports they required depending on the views, and its owe to the tool to generate the reports in a way that the users don’t know. RptTool defines and generates reports on the views.
