【Abstract】 The IP-VPN technology is applied to provide secure communications for enterprises.According to the functions in the layered network architecture, three strategies can be used to implement it, i.e. are application layer(such as SOCKs), data link layer(such as L2TP, PPTP) and IP layer (IPSEC). Due to the security feature of the VPN device it is difficult to obtain the implementation details.
