微波辐射催化合成己酸乙酯
STUDY ON SYNTHESIS OF ETHYL CARPOATE UNDER MICROWAVE IRRADIATION
【摘要】 对比研究了常规加热浓硫酸催化法与微波辐射对甲苯磺酸催化法合成己酸乙酯的效果。结果表明 :微波辐射条件下 ,以活性炭担载对甲苯磺酸作催化剂 ,5A型分子筛作脱水剂合成己酸乙酯 ,酸∶醇 =1∶4 (摩尔比 ) ,催化剂用量0 .6g,微波功率 80 0w ,辐射时间 4min ,己酸乙酯的产率可达 89.6 6 % ,反应速度是常规反应的 4 8倍。微波辐照合成己酸乙酯是一种高效合成方法
【Abstract】 Compared with conventional heating, the reaction rate for ethyl caproate synthesis was accelerated by about 50 times under microwave irradiation and with p-toluene sulfonic acid (PTSA) as catalyst supported by activated carbon (AC) and a 5A molecular sieve as the dehydrating agent. When the molar ratio of caproic acid∶ethanol = 1∶4 and the amount of the catalyst was 0.6 g and the irradiation (800 w) time was 4 min., the yield of esterification was 89.66%. The method is novel and highly efficient for the preparation on ethyl caproate.
