【Abstract】 As one of the nations that have the highest proportion of old persons in population, Japan is now witnessing the problem taking a turn for the worse. To deal with the problem, the Japanese government has established a well developed system of social security for the aged, which is being constantly adjusted and improved in accordance with the development of the aging issue.
