Objective To investigate the osteoporosis in the mandible.Methods Panoramic radiographs were taken of 50 normal subjects and 50 cases of osteoporosis and the mandiblar form was analysed.Results The changes of bone trabecula,inferior margin and canal of mandible were present in osteoporosis,but the height of alveolar bone remained the same as the contral.Conclusion Osteoporosis patients show mandibular changes.
