【Abstract】 By using XML ,data exchange among differentsystems can become simpler and quicker,butstandardization of XML documentation is the prerequisite for realization of this advantage. Discusses DTD,document type definition,which is the foundation for formulating XML standards. Several existing schemes are listed for reference.
