【Abstract】 The "Banner changing of Northeast China" is a critical event in the history of the Republic of China, which not only safeguarded the unification of the nation but also dealt a heavy blow at the Japanese plan of invading Northeast China. To work out the causes of the event, Mr. Zhang Xueliang’s personal efforts stimulated by his patriotism come in the first place.
