语篇连贯的认知图式方案
A Cognitive Schemata Approach to Text Coherence
【摘要】 本文探讨读者在理解语篇过程中的认知机制,建立以语篇连贯为基础的认知图式方案。在分析语篇的连贯性时主要利用Hoey的词汇重复理论,以得到反映语篇连贯程度的数量值。在此基础上,本文以线、树、网的方式描述不同篇章的认知图式。为得到一般篇章的最佳认知策略,本文采用Kruskal算法,并结合认知特点推导一般篇章的最小认知代价树状图式。上述方案具有一般性和较强的可操作性。
【Abstract】 With a view to probing reader抯 cognitive mechanism in understanding texts, this essay attempts to establish a cognitive schemata model constrained by text coherence. Hoey抯 theory of lexical repetition is applied to the quantitative study of text coherence. Given such reasoning, three types of models — line, tree, and network are developed to demonstrate the cognitive schemata underlying different texts. In order to construct an optimal cognitive strategy for an untypical text, Kruskal抯 algorithm is integrated with cognitive factors to derive tree schemata for processing an untypical text at the minimum cognitive cost. The applicable procedure can lend help to the analysis of general cases.
