【Abstract】 Bilingual (or multilingual ) parallel corpora open up a new way to translation studies. In this paper, four approaches in which a bilingual parallel corpus can be a resource and a practical tool in translation studies are demonstrated: a parallel corpus can be used 1) to do a contrastive linguistic research, 2) to analyze translational transformation or translators’ style, 3) to enrich a bilingual dictionary, and 4) to help translation training. Possible future uses of bilingual corpora are suggested.更多还原
