【Abstract】 As a new education instrument, the computer-assisted English teaching is indicating its unique advantages now. And considered as an important link of teaching process, the examination also confronts the problem of being modernized. Long-distance English examinations have many advantages compared with traditional examinations. In this article, we design a long-distance English examination system based on web database according to the characteristics of English examinations.
