【Abstract】 Taking the county town of Zhenning Autonomous County for example, a characteristic small town, which dates back to Ming Dynasty, in the southwest of Guizhou Province, the social, political, environmental and economic factors in the identification and interpretation of cultural resources are analyzed comprehensively. At the same time, with comprehensive documentations and treatments of sites ranging in scale from individual structures to urban districts to cultural landscapes, the paper has explored some effective policy and design issues involved with the integration of new development within an existing built context.更多还原
