金属插层对一维光子晶体中光传输特性的影响
Effect of the inserted metal layer on the characteristic of light transmission of one-dimensional photonic crystals
【摘要】 利用传输矩阵方法 ,从理论上研究了金属插层对由Si SiO2 组成的一维光子晶体中光传输特性的影响 .结果表明 :由 (Si SiO2 ) n 组成的一维光子晶体 ,考虑到材料的实际吸收及折射率随波长发生变化的情况 ,当n≥ 9时 ,该体系出现全反射带 (光子带隙 ) ,在 (Si SiO2 ) n 光子晶体中的SiO2 层的中间插入金属银层 ,构成 (Si SiO2 Ag SiO2 ) n 金属型一维光子晶体 ,光子带隙的宽度明显加宽 ,且在该带隙中s光和p光在 0— 6 0°入射角下均具有较低损耗 ,利用这一特性 ,可以制作出宽带反射镜
【Abstract】 The transmission of light wave through one dimensional metallodielectric photonic crystals was simulated by the transfer matrix method. The metallodielectric photonic crystal was constructed by inserting metal Ag layers into Si/SiO 2 quarter wave multilayers. The simulation results of the (Si/SiO 2) n system show that the photonic band gap appears at n ≥9. By inserting metal Ag layers into the SiO 2 quarter wave layers, a new metallodielectric photonic crystal(Si/SiO 2/Ag/SiO 2) n can be made, the new structure shows a wider band gap than that in the structure of [Si/SiO 2] n . Its reflectance spectra over an incident angle range of 0—60° show a 400nm wide low loss omnidirectional high reflection band for both s and p polarized light. The characteristics of the structures may be used as a low loss omnidirectional reflector.
