系统振动对甲基红掺杂聚乙烯醇薄膜衍射效率的影响
Effect of vibration of setup on the diffraction efficiency of methyl-red-doped polyvinyl alcohol film
【摘要】 从实验和理论分别获得甲基红掺杂聚乙烯醇薄膜的衍射效率 η随两 P偏振写入光夹角 2 θ的变化曲线 η- 2 θ,发现实验曲线的峰值相对理论曲线向小角度偏移 .将实验系统振动作为影响两曲线峰值偏移的重要因素 ,引入振动调制因子对样品衍射效率的理论公式进行了修正 ,缩小了理论曲线相对实验曲线的峰值偏移 .
【Abstract】 The dependence of the saturated diffraction efficiency of holographic grating ( η ) on the included angle 2 θ of two writing beams is experimentally obtained, where the methyl red doped polyvinyl alcohol films are used for recording medium with fixed writing beams and reading beam intensities and the writing beams are both P polarized. It is indicated that the included angle 2 θ corresponding to the peak of η 2θ was approximately 10.7°, which gives a large deviation from theoretical calculation (the peak of the curve of η 2θ is at 36°). By considering the effect of vibration on the experimental results and introducing a vibration modulation factor m , a modified theoretical formula is given. The deviation between experimental and theoretical results is diminished by modification, which indicates that modification is reasonable and the effect of vibration of experimental setup on grating efficiency is a noticeable factor.
